Very sweet! Nov 23, 2011

Truthfully, I don't I've ever met a Beanie Baby that I didn't like, and Halo the Bear is no exception. As a matter of fact, we liked him so much that we purchased two of him (I guess they are twins!) to give to two little cousins in our family. They are loving the bear, and we are loving the fact that it made them so happy -- at such a reasonable price!

The bear arrived in a very timely fashion. He is just beautiful. He will bring much joy to the right "Child" when the next group of bears is given out. You see "Child" has no boundary of age. It can be a small one in a village in Cambodia or an Orphanage, or a child that has cancer in a local hospital or even a senior citizen in a rest home. This is why we are collecting these bears. Hopefully soon we will be obtaining donations but until then we will continue to pray for the funds to purchase bears of all shapes an sizes to send where ever God leads us :D
Replacement for childhood toy Sep 15, 2011

I was given this bear as a gift when it was released when I was just a little girl, along with a glass case to keep it protected. It, unfortunately, was stolen a few years ago. While I can never get my original toy back, I can buy a replacement. I was very skeptical of this one, thinking it may be a knock-off like some others I've seen. As far as I can tell, it is the same quality as my original TY Halo bear. I am very pleased to find that this isn't a scam or a lesser quality version.

I bought it for an instructor that kept saying she needed an angel beanie baby bear to go with her teeny beany baby devil bear to illustrate a point.
She's always telling us that we are smart and our brain is incredible (the angel bear) but we have this little bitty part of our brain that tells us we are stupid, that we can't do it, and to quit while we are ahead (the devil bear). She sits them, one on each side of her shoulders to illustrate the good part and the bad part of our brain.
In that illustration this bear is very educational.
Otherwise, it is just a cute little bear.
