wow airplane Feb 06, 2010 Love that the toy is not too bulky and it is a wined up toy as well. My 2yr old daughter and I have so much fun playing with it back and forth. She is very intrigued as to what the cargo is.
Mom likes, but kids lost interest Oct 22, 2009 I think this plane is adorable and fun, with the propellers that spin when you rev it, and the pilot and tiger. My 3 year old boys each have one, but it has never been a favorite toy. I think it may be that the revving mechanism is different than many toys, which you pull back and let go, whereas with this one, you rev it forward. The kids have trouble getting it to go very far. When they do play with it, they seem to really enjoy it.
Two year old loves this toy Sep 09, 2009 My two year old is fascinated with airplanes and loves this toy. It is a little difficult for her to push it hard enough for the friction to work, but that will change over time. Very durable.

Not as great as other WOW! vehicles... Mar 01, 2009 We have the dump truck and a car from this series of vehicles, and my 2 year old son LOVES both of them. Both of them travel a great distance with just a little push (they go forward like those cars that you have to pull back and let go, except that you don't have to pull these back, which is great for a 2 year old!).
The box for the airplane said it was powered in the same way, but because those special wheels are only in the front (or at least, this is my guess), and not the back as well, it does not travel in a straight line very easily, and therefore is very difficult to control. My son finds this very frustrating. _I_ find it frustrating that neither the pilot nor the tiger tend to stay in the plane if you tip it even slightly, though my son seems to find this hilarious, so I guess I can't say whether it's a true disadvantage.
On the plus side, these toys are really well made (sturdy, I mean) and can really take a toddler's intense play!
Anyway, overall, I'd say this toy is really just average, and I found it very disappointing considering a very positive experience I've had with the others we've bought from this company.
Fast and fun Jan 09, 2009 We wanted a toy that moved without batteries and annoying noise, preferably with some people figures to encourage creative play. This totally fits the bill and our son, age 2, loves it. He is slowly figuring out how to get it to move on its own (the adults have fun making it go really fast!). He pretends to make it fly in the air and really loves the pilot and tiger (we have no idea why there's a tiger but kids love it!). Our only complaint is that the tiger in particular tends to fall out when we're revving it up. We've solved the problem by installing tape "seatbelts," but it's annoying. Figures in other Wow toys seem to fit in more snugly and securely.
